I need to konw what I am doing wrong, I have done
everthing the user's guide told me to do but is not
working, I get a message saying does not recornice the
base station. it tell me to disconect the firewalls, I did

Have you tried to run IE and go to 192.168.2.1? Even with a
firewall you should be able to reach the base station with
IE, unless the network card is misconfigured or you set the
router to bridge mode (or enabled MAC filtering and forgot
to add your MAC address to the list). If you are in bridge
mode, use the router name for the MN700, or reset the
router for the MN500.

Otherwise, do you have Windows ICF enabled? Disable it. If
you are installing the base station, you might need to
uninstall the firewalls -- Norton, ZoneAlarm... keep
running when disabled.
