Default Games getting forwarded in on MN-700

I recently purchased Icewind Dale. I figured I'd have to
setup port forwarding to be able to host games behind the
MN-700, but all I had to do was start the game, and
anyone could connect using my WAN address. This kind of
makes me think that the security isn't as tight as I'd
like. I don't have any port forwards set and pretty much
have the default security settings. Any idea why it just
works without me having allowed it to? Thanks!

Software can open ports automatically -- Outlook and
Messenger do that all the time. Look in security logs after
opening Outlook for instance.

The best way is to check if any ports are open using
something like ShieldsUp (https://www.grc.com/)

You may (although I never tried it) be able to block this
by forwading all non-used ports to a non-existing IP.
