Is the network card working (was it used being used
before)? Is the cable properly inserted? Try resetting the MN700 using the reset on the back. Run command prompt and enter ping 192.168.2.1. Let's know the result. >-----Original Message----- >I bought a brand new MN-700 to be configured as a >wireless access base only, but the home page 192.168.2.1 >refusedto open so l cannot have accessto the base >station management tool. What should i do? >. > |

On the computer connected to the MN700, see if it is getting an ip from the
router. To do this, goto start, run and type cmd Then type ipconfig If you got an ip to the effect of 192.168.2.x, then you are successfully getting an ip. If you got an ip that starts with 169, then you are not getting an ip. If the former is happening, open IE and then goto Tools, Options, then the Connections tab, and then the LAN settings button. Make sure everything selectable is unchecked at this screen. If the latter is happening, make sure your cable connections have been made properly. -- Jason Tsang - Microsoft MVP Find out about the MS MVP Program - http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/default.aspx "Jerome Umuche" <(E-Mail Removed)> wrote in message news:248bb01c45f83$ab3e5540$(E-Mail Removed)... > I bought a brand new MN-700 to be configured as a > wireless access base only, but the home page 192.168.2.1 > refusedto open so l cannot have accessto the base > station management tool. What should i do? |
