Can someone email me and tell me if the base station
needs to be permanently connected to a computer, or if I just have a laptop, can I just disconnect it from the base station and turn on it's wireless function once setup of the base station is complete? UB |

You can disconnect it once the setup of the base station is complete

The PC connected to my basestation is usually off, and
three other wireless devices (a PC, a notebook, and a TiVo) all function perfectly, including full internet access. So, I'd have to say the answer to your question is YES >-----Original Message----- >Can someone email me and tell me if the base station >needs to be permanently connected to a computer, or if I >just have a laptop, can I just disconnect it from the >base station and turn on it's wireless function once >setup of the base station is complete? >. > |
