Default Wireless Adapter... Light is not dark green

When I insert the wireless adpater key into our notebook
the lights on it aren't dark green like they were last
week and I can get a connection to the internet. Anyone
know what has happened. We have been able to get
connection for 5 months and all of a sudden it's not
working properly. Thanks

What is the type of adapter? 510, 520, 710, 720?

Check under Control Panel/System/Devices. Look for the
network device and see if it says is functioning properly
(or disabled). Check also PCMCIA or PC-Card. If the
device is disabled, re-enable it.

Otherwise, insert the card in another laptop and see if
the lights come up.
