MN-730 to MN-700 WEP fails

Just a added a new PC using the MN-730 PCI card to my MN-700 based
network. The install seemed to go fine but the PC cannot connect to
the network. I have turned off 802.1x authentication, turned on WEP
128. When I type the 26 digit WEP key in, I get a message saying the
key is invalid. I have reentered the code dozens of times, being very
careful to enter it correctly.

When I open the broadband networking utility, it shows me connected to
the network for 10 seconds then the connection is unavailable.

My network is stable with 5 wired clients running a mix of Intel and
linksys PCI cards as well as two laptops one with a MN-720 and one
with a Dlink DWL-650.

Any thoughts on what would be causing this? All devices have the
latest software and firmware.

Could be you need to make sure the machine has an IP which is part of your
LAN DHCP feed. Go to the Command Prompt and type in "ipconfig" without the
quotes. If it doesn't return a 192.168.2.* address (default on the base
station), then you need to type "ipconfig /release" followed by "ipconfig
/renew" (again without the quotes). This should "talk" with the base
station to obtain a proper IP address with your LAN.

I tried this 3x but each time the /renew timed out with
an error--"unable to contact your DHCP server.
Suggestions? Thanks
