Default b adapter on g network

I have two laptops one of them has a 802.11b adapter and
the other has a 802.11g one. I want to buy a wireless
base station to take advantage of the g technology
however I´m afraid that if I buy a g base station such as
MN-700 I wont be able to use my 802.11b laptop. Am I
rigth or not?

You can use the base station/router in b/g mode, serving both.

With the MN510/MN520, yes, if you have the latest driver/firmware update
(get msbndownload.exe and it should install it)
