Default Broadcom 54g Maxperformance and Wireless-B Base Station

I have an HP Pavilion zx5000 with a Broadcom 54g
Maxperformance wireless network adapter. I have installed
the base station and the laptop picks up the signal. No
connection to the network or internet is avaiable. Also,
there is no wireless adapter avaiable in the broadband
utility. Any suggestions?

Did you configure the router using a wired connection to
port 1? Otherwise, set it by going with IE to
192.168.2.1 -- initially keep WEP disabled until
everything is working fine.

I did set the router by using a wired connectin to port
1. I'm not sure what you mean by setting it (I assume you
mean the router) with IE to 192.168.2.1. Do I do this
through the setup wizzard? Also, why is the "wireless base
station" option under the "tools" menu in the utility
greyed out?
