I am trying to set up a MN-700 base station to run a ps2
box. The second MN-700 has dhcp disabled and the ip harcoded to 162.168.2.23. The other devices can see the box as a remote access. ping does not work and the box does not see the internet. hilburn |

How is the PS2 connected? Wired or wireless?
Is the second 700 set as router or bridge? As router it will NAT your PS2, making it look like it is in a different LAN (and thus remote). Make sure the PS2 is in the same subnet of 192.168.2.x and not 192.168.1.x. Is the PS2 set to get a dynamic IP or a static (i.e. hardcoded)? >-----Original Message----- >I am trying to set up a MN-700 base station to run a ps2 >box. You may want to look through the online game information here:
http://www.us.playstation.com/onlinegaming.aspx There are several links, including installation, and IP Address and Firewall. -- Chris H.
