Default Wireless WAN Miniport

I have a Dell 4300 PC running Windows XP Pro. It is connected to a
Microsoft Broadband Router Model MN-700. The other computer on the
network is a Compaq laptop running Windows XP Home, with a Microsoft
Wireless Network card (MN-720). The network seems to be working well as
I can share files and printers between the computers and both have
simultaneous access to the Internet through my broadband cable router.

The problem is that when I open up Device Manager, Network adapters the
WAN Miniport (Network Monitor) has an exclamation mark on it and when
Properties are opened I get the following message:

WAN Miniport (Network Monitor) Properties

This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the
drivers required for this device. (Code 31)

I am not sure what this means since everything seems to be working.
Should I attempt to reinstall the driver?

Thanks for any help you may provide.

I believe it is part of th AOL stack. Can anyone confirm
this? If that is the case you should be able to remove it
(unless you are using AOL).

I have never used or installed AOL. I'm not sure what removing
something from Device Manager means.
I had a fair amount of trouble getting the wireless file sharing working
and now that it is, I am being very cautious about doing anything that
might cause problems. I suppose that, since it iw working, I should not
try to fix it.
