I just purchased the Microsoft 802.11g wireless kit. This
was an upgrade for me as I previously used a Linksys 802.11b wireless router. One feature that the Linksys had (which I used often) was the ability to allow remote management, i.e. I could access the config page using any internet connection, as long as I knew the IP address my broadband ISP assigned me and I had enabled the feature. Does the Microsoft base station have this ability? If it does, I have been unable to find a way to enable it. Rich |

no, there is no remote management port. if you have an XP Pro box
behind the base station and leave it on, you can use remote desktop to that box, etc. On Fri, 5 Mar 2004 18:52:01 -0800, "Rich" <(E-Mail Removed)> wrote: >I just purchased the Microsoft 802.11g wireless kit.
