Default MN-500

I have a MN-500 and whenever the power is lost all the
settings are reset. Is this supposed to happen? Also
now, I cannot seem to run the base station wizard, it
says it cannot communicate when it trys to load all the
settings. Is this a faulty unit? Thanks for the help.

no, that should not happen. it should retain the WEP info, SSID,
password etc. you would lose the DHCP public WAN IP, etc. but not the
other settings.

It defaults back mshome, and i have to input all the
internet settings again, and also genereate a new wep
key. So this sounds like a faulty unit? It is a couple
months old.
