Default MN-820....FTP Site

Hey Everyone,

I have been trying to get my FTP site and my linux box to
work for some time with the MN-720. I just can't get
anyone or myself from the outside to access anything
INSIDE the router, even if I set the machine as the DMZ. I
go into the persistenet port forwarding option and I open
all the necessary ports and NOTHING, can anyone please
help me?

Thanks!!

Jimmy

You may have to configure your FTP server and the clients outside your LAN
to use passive mode. IIRC, thats pretty much a necessity to run an FTP
server from behind any type of NAT router.
