Default MN-740

I'm using a Linksys WRT54G Wireless Broadband router with
WPA security, I just purchased the MN-740 wireless
adapter for my son's Xbox, why isn't the MN-740 enabled
for WPA and when will the firmware update be available?

First, let me say that I'd like to see WPA on the MN-740 as well. But
I don't think it is going to happen. None of the game adapters from
ANY vendor, (same with music adapters or non computer wireless
adapters) are WPA enabled. I think that certification for non computer
devices does not require WPA so they did not go the extra mile and
related expense to include WPA.

That's incorrect information. I suggest you look at the product data sheet
here: http://www.linksys.com/products/prod...id=36&prid=558
It says, "Utilizes up to 128 Bit Wired Equivalency Protection (WEP) to
ensure security."
