I have an MN700 set up and my laptop connected with little
problems. The signal is weak and I am trying to install a second MN700 as a "bridge" to give me greater signal strentgh downstairs in my home. Any help would be appreciated. Robert Robert |

From information I've gotten from Microsofts MVP's posts on these
newsgroups, the second MN-700 you want to use as an access point HAS to be WIRED to the the MN-700 acting as a router. There's no way for it to extend the signal wirelessly, I thought this could be done, it was kind of disappointing but that's how technology is. If anyone has more info on this, please do share. -- Alpha http://www.xboxsolution.com - Administrator "Robert" <(E-Mail Removed)> wrote in message news:74eb01c40269$e7a79e00$(E-Mail Removed)... > I have an MN700 set up and my laptop connected with little > problems. Other vendors have technology that repeats wirelessly. In one of my
Expert Zone columns, I describe using WDS (wireless distribution center) to do just this. The MS gear just doesn't support this advanced function.
