MN-700 Wireless Adapters get 0.0.0.0 for IP

Hello,

I have the MN-700 with all soft/firmware up to date. The
wire connections work fine. I have 2 laptops, different
brands, different wireless adapters that both cannot see
the router, no matter what I try, despite the fact that
the SSID is set to broadcast. Still even when I can
manage to force them (both laptops) to connect they get
an Excellent signal strength, but no IP (0.0.0.0)
address. I'm wondering if the wireless capabilities of
the router are faulty, and I need to return it. I was
unable to find any similar threads about this issue.

On an unrelated note, I've noticed the router will not
release the existing connection list, no matter how many
times I reset it (despite the fact that it says if you
reset the router, only clients that request a new IP will
be listed). It continues to show every connection that
ever existed on the router. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

I have seen this problem. Have you tried stopping the card, removing
it and reinserting it? What happens if you reboot? What happens when
you have one laptop powered off and experiment with one only? I do not
believe the brand of the wireless client is relevant to this issue as
I've seen it with multiple vendors wireless cards. Client lease time
was set to 2 weeks.

Hello, with one or both laptops attempting to receive an
IP address, the problem still occurs. Removing one of
the cards (the other laptop's card is built in
internally) does not help the issue at all.

If unplug the base station and plug it back in and reboot the computers, do
you still have this issue? If yes, you should exchange it.
