machine using wireless. On the windows me machine I can access the windows xp machine, but when I try to access the windows me files from the windows xp machine, it won't let me. Everything shows that it is connected, but I can't access the files. I didn't know if there are more than one way to access the files, or if its just windows xp thats causing the problem. Please help! Chad |

I've shared all files, in same workgroup. I know I've
got everything set up right, but I was told I could use to wireless adapters to go back and forth between two computers without having a router or anything. I'm thinking I must need one. If you know please let me know. Thank you. >-----Original Message----- >Have you shared the files on Millennium? >-- >Chris H. >Microsoft Windows MVP >Associate Expert >Expert Zone - www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone > >"Chad" <(E-Mail Removed)> wrote in message >news:1475901c3f8a2$50ea2b20$(E-Mail Removed)... >> I have a windows xp machine connected to a windows me >> machine using wireless. You're talking about an Ad Hoc network, then, and that's a different animal.
Take a look in Help and Support on the Windows XP machine, and look in the documentation for the networking devices. -- Chris H.
