Did you find the answers to your questions? I'm in the same boat. I've only got my network on the preferred list and non-preferred connections option is not selected...still puzzled

How can I make this stop. I only want to be connected to my network and not my neighbors. Thank Jake =?Utf-8?B?RXJpYw==?= |

You tell Windows XP to only connect to preferred networks.

I have this same problem, already made sure the other networks are not
preferred and unchecked the auto connect to non preferred networks option under advanced. Still happens... the weird thing is if I turn WEP off it works perfectly and never prompts me, as soon as I re-enable WEP it prompts me to connect every 5 minutes or so. Rick |
