Hi
I have Windows XP on my desktop which is hardwired to a MN- 700(Microsft Wireless Router) When I try to access the CISCO VPN from that machine, It checks my userid, password the does a "Securing communication channel..." and then fails with "Remote peer terminated connection." I think this might have to do with the NAT that the wireless router runs, however I have not been able to work around it I have tried "Enabling IPSEC over UDP and TCP with a particular port" but that has not worked, I have also tried disabling NAT from the Router itself but that has totally stopped my internet connectivity All of this works fine when I take away the Router from the picture Any thoughts? Thanks Vineet |

try changing the IP address of the base station to 192.168.1.1
(instead of 192.168.2.1) and the range handed out to clients to 192.168.1.* I believe there is a setting in the Cisco client for NAT compatibility. (which version Cisco client are you using?) I tried changing the range, still does not help
I am using CISCO 3.6.1 with a NAT compatible, I have done port forwarding still does not work, however on further investigation I find that when I do netstat -ano, the cisco is using a udp port 65250 and the host it is using is localhost(127.0.0.1) I changed my localhost in hosts file to my local pc address but issue repeats itself thanks Vineet >-----Original Message----- >try changing the IP address of the base station to 192.168.1.1 >(instead of 192.168.2.1) and the range handed out to clients to >192.168.1.* > >I believe there is a setting in the Cisco client for NAT >compatibility. You should open a support incident with the PS folks and get a SR# to
track this issue. There isn't anything else I can suggest.
