I have a router 802.11b. Is it possible to install an
internet adapter 802.11g?
Thanks for your kind attention.

Hi,

As long as the 802.11g wireless adapter card is backwards compatible with
802.11b.
So you can install the G adapter on your computer and still connect to your
B wireless router.

Yes it is possible. I have a mn-500 and a wireless g
adapter that works fine.

Isn't a router a internet adapter? If you meant router
as a gateway/base station...yes. You can use a
gatway/base station 802.11b with a router/internet
adapter 802.11g. But you won't get the extra performance
of 802.11g.
