Default MN-730 wireless-g PCI adapter will not install

after I put in the disk and run set up it begains wanting
to install a whole lot off componets that it says it
needs, once I get through that nothing else happens,
software does not install.
put the disk back in and tell it to install software only
and it installs ok, then it tells me to shut down and
install pci adapter when i turn pc back on the wizard
does its thing then ask me to install the windows 98se
disk. TAHTS WHEN ALL GOES TO H-LL, IT SAYS IT CANT FIND
THE FILES ON THE WINDOWS 98 DISK, WHY DOES IT NEED FILES
FROM 98 DISK? WHAT TOO DO NOW? HELP

It needs the networking files. Just insert the disk that it is
requesting.
