MN-720

I have two computers. both of them with XP. Just installed
microsoft basestation and notebook adaptors. Installation
went good. Seems like both of them work fine. I took one
(dell inspiron 5100, by the way this is new computer) to
the upstair(about 20 ft away). Connection got slowed and
dropped. I took the other computer (dell inspiron 8100),
it works fine at colocation. I thought it was PCMCIA
card. I swapped the cards. Still the dell 8100 works fine,
dell 5100 do not work. I took the both computer closer to
the router. 5100 still not connecting. I had to reboot the
5100 then it connected. then took it away from the router.
it lost connectin again. Is this the routr problem? or
does it sounds like problem with the Dell 5100? any
opionion?
