Here's the deal:
At home I have a laptop computer which I utilize throughout my house. I have a MN-500 Wireless Access Point/Router and a broadband modem. I am wondering if I can, in anyway, connect my printer to my MN-500 WAP/Router? I want to do this, because it is inconvenient to always go to where ever the printer is and connect the computer to the printer. I would like to simply print a document, and have it waiting for me whereever the printer is located (most likely next to the router). Is this at all possible? Any information is greatly appreciated! By the way, I am NOT using any other computer in my set- up. I am aware of the home networking setup you can use to share printers. But this does not apply to me. I only have one computer. Thanks! You can do this without a computer, but you will need a print server.

You can use an ethernet adapter for the printer -- they
sell for about $60 at circuit city or compusa -- you may also check other stores. The adapter essentially function as a small printer server. An alternative solution is to get an old PC or laptop that is being trashed out and set it as printer server (cost $0). Just look around yor neighborhood. Remember that old PCs are worth nothing now, as a new PC went costs as little as $300. >-----Original Message----- >Here's the deal: > >At home I have a laptop computer which I utilize >throughout my house.
