I recently bought this router because of the name brand and also
noting on the box it has VPN pass through... I have spent endless nights trying to figure out where I can enable PPTP or Protocol 47 GRE so my employees can access our WIN2k SERVER running PPTP....... Please any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried putting the 2k box in DMZ but that didn't help.... Again ANY help would be greatly appreciated.. Respectfully Yours, Carlo. I would hate to say this does not have VPN pass through or else it would be false advertisement please prove me wrong! Carlo |

It is supposed to have IPSec passthrough. Please give Product Support a call
on this issue. Carlo wrote: > I recently bought this router because of the name brand and also > noting on the box it has VPN pass through... I noticed you answered many others with the same comment. I take it there is no "QUICK FIX" , this is not good business pratice for Micro$oft, I will not lower myself to call there tech support line and pay more money for something I have already paid for! Thanks anywas for your help but I am pretty sure I would call them before I posted here........... Has anyone out there gotten this to work?? Any help is greatly appreciated... Thanks ALL! |

Like all MVP's, I am a volunteer. I can't make this work for you and I do
not have a fix. I don't have any options to offer you EXCEPT to give Product Support a call. They should not charge you if there is a problem with the device. Up to you where you go from here.
