80211.g wireless USB adapter for a PC?

Does Microsoft plan to offer a wireless USB adapter for a
PC? The competition offers such a product. I'm waiting
for a Microsoft version. I have a MN-700 base station.
Any plans for an 80211.g wireless USB adapter from
Microsoft?

Bob,
It's the 510 adapter. It plugs into the USB port and you
can trasnmit via the basestation.

The MN-510 is an 802.11b device. Microsoft has not announced a comparable
product in the 54 Mbps series for 802.11g.

to work..

No they don't. Microsoft has not made this product because 802.11G needs to
have USB 2.0 it can not run on any earlier versions of USB. This would prove
to be far to much trouble for Microsoft to handle the thousands more calls
it would get.
