Default MN-700 Base Station Mangement Tool

I recently did the autoupdate of the Base Station's
Firmware. After doing the firmware update I can no
longer access the base station manangement tool. It
gives me a Gateway timeout error. Any help would be
great. Thanks.

Can you access it through your browser by going to 192.168.2.1 (the default)
or whatever IP you assigned it? Do you happen to be running any third-party
firewall on your system?

No, I can't access it through my browser either. I do
not have any third party firewalls running, and the
windows firewall is not on as well.

Okay, after the firmware update, did you reboot your router? Might try
unplugging the power for a minute or so and then plug it back in. Also,
have you done any "tweaks" in Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Services?
BTW, do you happen to be running an ATI graphics card?

The router rebooted on its on after the update, I have
rebooted it since then. I have tried reinstalling the
software, and pushing the reset on the back of the
router. I have not done any tweaks. I just purchased
the router, Do you think it may be defective? I am not
using an ATI card, have a NVIDA Card. Thanks.

Should I take the router back to the store, and then not
upgrade the firmware on the new one?
