His their anyway to increase the signal between the routor and the wireless adapter I have the mn-500 wireless base station and 510 wireless usb adapter the base station is setup in my bed room and I can't get any signal on my computer which is about less that a 100 ft away, when it do the the base station is only at 2.2 mbps and it wont go on the internet. any suggestion will help. thanks in advance. rude. ps my house is cbs |

You might try moving the base station away from any walls or electrical connections (speakers, monitor, telephone) and raise or lower the height of its position. You might also try different channels. As for an antenna extension or the like, there are none. As for not going on the Internet, is that entirely no Internet or an occasional problem? Does the computer connected to the base station have Internet access okay? If it does, I'd check to make sure you're on the same channel and workgroup with the USB adapter. If you're running Windows XP on the machine with the USB adapter, are you current with your Windows Updates? There are two which would be of interest, a wi-fi rollup package and an update to both 1.1 and 2.0 USB. -- Chris H.
