MN-700 and Internet Connection Problems

My Computer seems to have problems connecting to certain
internet sites while connected to the MN-700 router. Its
always the same error "This Page cannot be displayed" and
at the bottom it says "cannot find server or DNS error."
The computer connects to these sites without problems
when connected directly through the cable modem. The
firewall is turned off on the computer. Site examples:
MBNA.COM and FIRSTUSA.COM.

go into IE settings and turn off auto detect proxy. (connections, Lan
Settings, uncheck auto detect and clear all proxy entries if any
exist)
