Default setup



I set up the basestaion and it is working. then i go to
setup the adapter and when i run the cd, it keeps
saying "installation failed" i closed alot of unnecesary
programs and cleaned up the harddrive. i also diabled
some popup blockers and firewall. help me

Might want to be a little more specific with that query...
Which adapter? USB? PCI? ...
Forget the CD...
Go here:
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/br...DLoadMain.mspx
and get the driver for the product you own. Install it, then install your
adapter, reboot, enjoy.

if you'd actually bothered to check out your links before
you posted them, you'd see that there are no drivers on
the Microsoft Broadband Networking web site.

I'm sorry, but you don't even know which product was being talked about.
The link as posted leads to the Manual Downloads section, and thereon the

of the products which have had firmware updates have downloads available.

I'm guessing those drivers listed for the MN110, MN120, MN130, MN510 and
MN520 are figments of one's imaginations?
