Linksys are generally really easy to set up so check the obvious.

Are both using the same channel ?
Is the base station connected to the network ?
Is the base staion in Bridge Mode (it shouldn't be)

If all fails press the little reset button on the rear of the device (with a
pin or similar) then download the quick start step by step guide from
linksys
