ADSL Speed Test...

I have done my speed test using
http://www.dslzoneuk.net/speedtest.php

Im suposed to be on the Bulldog 8Meg service and this is what I got
1.53 Mbps Your connection is performing very poorly (19% efficiency) for a 8
Mbps service

I get this with AAISP:-

"Your connection is performing way above normal (199% efficiency) for a
2 Mbps service.
Did you choose the correct speed?"

Well I was only limited to selecting 2Mbps on the website - rather than
the 8Mbps I now have with them.

Same here with AAISP as well.

Try downloading a very large file via ftp from a local (to you) mirror of
tucows, you'll get a better indication of your download speed. Speedtest
sites are notoriously unreliable.
