Default Problem with AOL BB since upgrade to 2Mbps

Hi

Since AOL upgraded my service to 2Mbps I'm having far more messages
saying that the network is not commected, but only for a few seconds,
and the Ip address seems to change about 4 or 5 times a day.

This is a typical Router log:

Could anyone give me the noddy guide to this log, (what all the
acronyms mean etc.) and a bit of advice on how to stop the connection
dropping/ multiple IP changes.

Thanks

Don Carter

AOL uses random addresses so everytime a connection is established you will
have a different address. Changing screen-names while still connected will
also change your IP address. It's an advantage in many situations.

How to avoid disconnects?

Use the smallest/earliest version of AOL you can find which will work with
BB.
Use the smallest/earliest version of Windows, ie: not XP Professional
Install more RAM. 1 Gig is about the absolute minimum for AOL
Change ISP.

Thanks for the response, I'm not using the AOl software, just using
the service for connection. The OS varies from machine to machine (4
on the network, but XP Pro is the least version, one machine uses Win
Server 2003, and there is a router between AOL and the machines.
