Off topic I know but can any of you very smart people tell me how to
reformat the hard disk on a Sky+ box?

Thanx

uk.tech.tv.sky is over there -->

However, the 'Full System Reset' is the option you are looking for.
You'll find it in the installers menu, which you get from SERVICES 4 0 1
SELECT

This is no low-level format (not that you should attempt that sort of
thing with modern disks anyway), merely a 'rewrite TOC' operation,
(among other things). You will lose all current recordings and
scheduled recordings. Some suggest you do this with your viewing card
removed, although I'm not sure why.
