-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
The Committee has received an objection to the Fast Track of uk.telecom.voip on the grounds that: 1) The current traffic in uk.telecom is from a small group of 'dabblers' and relates only to one flaky supplier. 2) The present discussions have little technical merit. 3) Only the greater technical expertise already to be found on uk.telecom would be adequate to support proper technical dicussions. Regarding #1, the Committee notes that a sufficient number of people, 'dabblers' or not, has expressed interest in the group. #2 and #3 appear to be in conflict, but in any case the Committee cannot see why experts currently on uk.telecom who might be inclined to offer technical opinions should not do so on the new group. There was one further objection with no reason given. None of these objections is upheld. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG-v1.2.4-(GNU/Linux) Charset: noconv iQCVAwUBQntfR2OfGXkh8vHZAQGb4gP/YpH/B54jTsgoLm1Q6uDTMWKnVih5LSPg NYjaBts848bqpnc2ieURYs/UXvM2SVe+DLqu18a8XYkXAgq/6p2G/TJXtWcskth3 NUfpwb5D0glmltZUlMcCOXCO7YZErfcosMgszlaMc+5VsowCOg xAJhKK7QhqVHDM kn4ouELR2wg= =lBr6 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- Chris Croughton as Control |
