Default NETWORK ACCESS



I have access through a router to the internet but i cant
get my network neighborhood to register either computer
that i have, co2 is up and running but co1 is not there is
no indication on the screen that either computer is
networked. how do i get co1 to register

If you can ping by IP then your problem is Name Resolution What method of
Name Resolution do you use for YOUR network, WINS, DNS or HOSTS ?
Look into WINS, DNS & HOSTS for more info on Name Resolution.

on the pull up i have client,family logon,tcp/ip,my
network card and file and printer sharing. there is no ip
address any where under the WINS, DNS OR HOSTS
