Howdy, I've noticed the nasty trend that UK ADSL
providers are, or about to introduce, capping. Are there any reputable ADSL providers in the UK who *don't* intend to introduce capping and still offer the choice of services as the likes of BT and Wannado? Thanks, folks. YavolGurrick |

Brilliant service, and brilliant customer support. I've been with them about 6 months with about 1hr down time in total http://portal.plus.net/my/mydiscount...G0q5hWicxRLQNM "YavolGurrick" <(E-Mail Removed)> wrote in message news:(E-Mail Removed)... > Howdy, I've noticed the nasty trend that UK ADSL > providers are, or about to introduce, capping. > > Are there any reputable ADSL providers in the UK > who *don't* intend to introduce capping and still > offer the choice of services as the likes of BT and > Wannado? > > Thanks, folks. > > |

In the long term I expect unrestricted accounts to cost considerably more than they do now. (E-Mail Removed), a.k.a marky says... > Plus.net do a un-cap 1 meg, 2 Meg and even 512 Plusnet have indicated they are 'considering' the possibility of capping in the future - you need to read the internal newsgroups more thoroughly. > Brilliant service, and brilliant customer support. The former, yes, the latter i cannot possibly agree with. > I've been with them about 6 months with about 1hr down time in total No-one can dispute that, you'd argue the toss, so it's pretty irrelevant. A better indicator for potential customers would be if you put a link in to the current status pages. http://www.plus.net/supportpages.html?a=2 - rather a lot of amber there at present. > http://portal.plus.net/my/... tut tut ... a referral link like that is *not* what this group is all about. |

A mention was made of 30G/month users not being the problem so much as those who are maxing out their collection 24*7. >> Brilliant service, and brilliant customer support. I'm happy with the service. |
