I know there are a few users of the 3CRWE754G72 [1] in here, so thought I'd
mention that a new v1.27 appeared on the 3Com website (http://tinyurl.com/5b9wp) last week. "This version of software fixes the following bugs: - patched duplicate login IP display security issue - patched DHCP embedded execution security exploit - fixed DC++ memory buffer overflow reboot - modified wireless country code setting for Israel" I've been running it since Monday with no apparent ill effects. YMMV. Don't blame me. [1] scary - I'm starting to remember it.... Grant |

Stuck this latest firmware straight on it and it's been solid as a rock. |

I don't see any point in updating just for the hell of it - particularly since I don't use it as a DHCP server, and don't live in Israel! -- Cheers, Tim ______ Please reply to newsgroup.
