Default 3Com modem/router updated firmware

I know there are a few users of the 3CRWE754G72 [1] in here, so thought I'd
mention that a new v1.27 appeared on the 3Com website
(http://tinyurl.com/5b9wp) last week.

"This version of software fixes the following bugs:

- patched duplicate login IP display security issue
- patched DHCP embedded execution security exploit
- fixed DC++ memory buffer overflow reboot
- modified wireless country code setting for Israel"

I've been running it since Monday with no apparent ill effects.

YMMV. Don't blame me.

[1] scary - I'm starting to remember it....

Picked this unit up last week after an awful time with the Netgear and then
the Linksys. Stuck this latest firmware straight on it and it's been solid
as a rock.

Mine is still running v1.11 - and seems perfectly happy! I don't see any
point in updating just for the hell of it - particularly since I don't use
it as a DHCP server, and don't live in Israel!
