Default anybody use NTL Freedom for broadband?

https://secure.ntlfreedom.com/

Basically a 512k BB package "supplied" by NTL that uses a BT phone
line. £17.99 / month with a 5 gig / month cap, and no connection /
sign up fee. Any feed back would be appreciated.

Thanks, Alex.

Nope haven't used it but it's gonna use the exact same network as every
other flavour of broadband provided via BT exchanges. NTL pay BT wholesale
and NTL charge consumer prices.
I've yet to find any provider that rents only floorspace and instals their
own kit ... that's not say it isn't the case. Just spent 8 months installing
Fujitsu DSLAM's. Actaully work for NTL at the mo and the talk is that offnet
products will be via a BT footprint but not at the mo AFAIK.
Rambling again ... NTL customer service is quite possibly the worst in the
UK.
