I'm trying to install BT Broadband using their Speedtouch 330 USB Cable
Modem, however it tells me that it cannot find framedyn.dll. This file exists in windows\system32\wbem should it be anywhere else? Support simply tell me to 'check my filters', and I've done that several times! Thanks, Peter Peter Andrews |

If that doesn't work try downloading a new copy of the dll, there are various places that have it, http://www.dll-files.com/ probably has it, perhaps the original was corrupted? If that doesn't work, try completely uninstalling and reinstalling modem + drivers. It has to be said though that Speedtouch modems aren't as good as getting a modem/router and ethernet card, if you still can't get the damn thing to work it may be worth investing in something better. -- Remove .lartsspammers to reply by email. Once that has been done, he could try 'registering' the dll by running "regsvr32.exe framedyn.dll" (without the quotes), either from the command prompt or the startmenu run option. Most likely result is an error box saying that it can't be registered. Probably won't work, but it just might.. If no luck (but no error box either) then running "regsvr32.exe /u framedyn.dll" will reverse the effect. -- Dave Johnson - (E-Mail Removed) |
