I am with BT Yahoo 1mb. These are my test results.
Direction Actual Speed True Speed (estimated) Downstream 928 Kbps (116.0 KB/sec) 1002 Kbps (inc. overheads) Upstream 245 Kbps (30.6 KB/sec) 264 Kbps (inc. overheads Are these good? Thanks Mark Mark Lee |

They're perfectly acceptable, yes. I get 119.4k/sec on my 1mbit on NTL. (well, before it came 1.5mbit) If those were my figures i'd be tweaking my MTU/RWIN a bit. Try RWIN of 13900 and MTU of 1430. Use DrTCP to accomplish this on Windows. -- chris |

As i said, select your network adapter, then in the MTU box next to it make sure it reads 1430, (mine reads 1500) then you're all set. Let me know how it goes, -- chris |
