linksys wrt54g and netgear dm602

help,
i have the above set up with a laptop and desktop both with wireless
conections on accessing the internet. things for about 8 months have
been fine apart from the odd reset of the netgear then internet access
was back on. however since last sunday i have to reset the netgear
approx every couple of hours to gain internet access. my laptop
conects once the restart has happened but the desktop will not. i had
it connected briefly for about an hour then nothing. does anyone have
any advise on settings etc (which i have not changed) since it was all
working okay.
