If it says Cable/DSL router, then not without a separate ethernet based
ADSL modem. You need to look for a router that is specifically ADSL
router or modem/router.

Or get an ADSL modem as well, like a Zoom Z3, or a D-link 300T, and
connect it to the WAN uplink port on the BEFSR41-UK.

Not without an external (ethernet) ADSL modem. You would probably be better
off getting a router with a built in modem (usually referred to as ADSL
modem routers by manufacturers and on web sites selling them).
