I have a wireless network set up and working well:
Netgear MR814 Wireless Router acting as Access Point Netgear MA101 Adaptors on Remote Win98 and WinXP computers, each accessing email and the web via DSL and sharing files, all working fine. I want to connect another computer to one of the remote win98 machines via an NIC card and Cat5 cable. When connected, the hard-wired computer sees the wireless computer in Network Neighborhood, but not the rest of the network. The wireless computer sees both the hard-wired computer and the rest of the network in NN. No other computer in the network can see the hard-wired computer. I can't access email or web from the hard-wired machine. How do I make the MA101 wireless adaptor and the NIC card "talk" to each other? I know in WinXP I could make a bridge, but Win98 does not give me that option. All help would be appreciated. Thanks, Ken Kenneth J. Seigh |
