Every time my computer boots up, a screen appears asking
for the network password when in fact I do not have a network or a network password. The computer does not complete the booting up until I get rid of the screen asking for the password. It is a real nuissance and it delays the booting up process. How can I rid of that screen which I don't want or need. I have tried everything I know to no avail. Please help !! Would you please reply to my e-mail address??? Thanks!! Ray Palazuelos ray palazuelos |

remove any "clients" loading in control panel>network

That's fine, as long as he doesn't need to use the internet. As long as you
have a network card, you will get that screen. I don't know about using TweakUI but, using straight Windows, the best you can do with Win98 is to make the password blank. That way you can just hit enter. With Win2K you can do the auto-logon, but not Win98. |
