WLAN

I'm attempting to setup a WLAN at home. I'm using
AirlinkPlus USB hub for my Windows 98 desktop with ad-hoc
setting. I have a laptop(XP home) also running an
AirlinkPlus Cardbus adapter that worked with a local
hotspot. The systems do not see each other under their
appropriate network neighborhoods. The utility provided
by Airlink does detect each other and says they are
connected, but they are still unaccessable. Both are have
sharing turned on with shared folders already set. Any
answers to this dilemma?

I've tried that and still had no success. I'm fixing to
try something read on another posting dealing with IP
addresses. Thanks for the help anyways. Let me know of
any other ideas.
