Ok My exchange is going to be broadband enabled next month!
I am fairly certain my line will be Ok as I can see the exchange from my house and I have ordered broadband from PlusNet. When the day of the line test comes will two Sky Boxes connected to the phone line make any difference? Also I have already got set up my wireless modem router and plugged my filters in. Will the filters make a difference as well. Can I leave them in or should I take them out? Kimball K Kinnison |

Old "net tales" say Sky digiboxes can create interference. However the line tests on my line were no different with the sky box plugged in and turned on, or with is unplugged and turned off. Jc. |

It wont do any thing till it dials out so won't be registered. If he can see the exchange I doubt he'd be borderline. Microfilters would need fitting to digiboxes also, as you would to any analogue line connection, be it modems, phones or digiboxes. SJW A.C.S. Ltd. |

It shoudnt make much difference but to be safe rather than sorry you could disconnect the Sky Boxes if you wanted... You do know you need to filter the Sky boxes, as well as any telephones once ADSL is active on your line? Regards Sunil |

Maybe that's the exchange my line's connected to. It's rubbish on voice. Oh well, live and learn! SJW A.C.S. Ltd. |
