Most people complain about BT Openworld, which is different from BT
Broadband. I've been using BT Broadband for several months now, and have had
no problems, and I have seen little to no complains from anyone else.
Although it doesn't officially come with newsgroup access, I've been able to
use BT Openworld's server without any problem (news.btopenworld.com)

Never as slow as 55k even on a bad day. 60k is the more usual figure on
HG7. Even the rather conservative ADSL speed test consistently comes out at
59.6k http://www.adslguide.org.uk/tools/speedtest.asp
