I am having a win 98 computer. When I tried to connct to
another computer (wwin 2000 work station) by running \\Computername from command prompt, it asks for the password for the user \\computername\IPC$ Both computers are working in workgroup. (No Domain) I have the administrator passwords (on both computers). Howcan I logon Please help me in solving this problem. Preethiviraj Kulasingham |

On the Windows 2000 workstation, you need to enter the name (and password,
if any) that the Windows 98 machine uses to start up. You'll find the tool you need on the Windows 2000 machine in the Control panel to add users. -- Richard G.
