Is it possible to Set up Win2K Professional or WinXP Professional as a VPN
Server? If so, how? I just want to create a secure connection to my friends computer over the internet. Any alternative suggestions would also be appreciated. TIA Parley Parley |

Hi,
You would need a third-party VPN server (or a router that does VPN). I'd search around a bit and find one you're comfortable with -- --Jonathan Maltz [Microsoft MVP - Windows Server, Virtual PC] http://www.visualwin.com - A Windows Server 2003 visual, step-by-step tutorial site :-) http://vpc.visualwin.com - Does <insert OS name> work on VPC 2004? Find out here Only reply by newsgroup. I do not do technical support via email. Any emails I have not authorized are deleted before I see them. Both operating systems will support one incoming VPN connection. Use the
new connection wizard and select advanced to set this up.
