OK, Here is a bizarre problem that I have never
encountered before. My Win 98 PC is connected via LAN connection i am able to ping the IP of the PC,I am also able to transfer files between PC's sitting on the same side of my router, I am able to ping the DNS from the PC, I am not able to connect to the Internet, mail, FTP,etc.... when running netstat command I have no active processes running, The only thing that I can see that doesn't look right is, when running ipconfig, IP routing is not enabled, But I have not been able to figure out how to enable it...This PC was working fine for at least a year, one day it was powered up and this started, and hasn't been able to connect to the internet since..... Any Help is greatily appreciated... THANKS, DAVE David Grippo |
